⌈ Physiotherapist ⌋
Janet is a Registered Physiotherapist. She graduated with Honours from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 2014. She obtained her Master degree of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2016. She is currently a member of the Ontario and Canadian Physiotherapy Associations.
Her treatment philosophy revolves around delivering evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. She strives to educate her patients in order for them to play an active role and to become fully engaged in their rehabilitation.
Janet has developed a keen interest in manual therapy and individualized exercise prescription. She has further advanced her education by completing her Level 1 and Level 2 Manual Therapy Exam, soft tissue release course, and APTEI introduction to acupuncture and dry needling. She is also a certified K-taping therapist. After completing the mechanical diagnosis and therapy course for the low back from the Robin McKenzie Institute Canada, Janet also incorporated the McKenzie method to treat acute and chronic low back pain.
In her spare time, Janet enjoys going to the gym, doing yoga and socializing with friends.
